CALL FOR ENTRIES – SIGNS OF SPRING ART EXHIBIT

 

The City of Marquette Office of Arts and Culture invites the community to submit artwork to Signs of Spring, a non-juried and open to all ages exhibit hosted at City Hall. Signs of Spring is inspired by Salamander Days: an awareness campaign supporting the migration of the Blue Spotted Salamander on Presque Isle Park. Salamander Days is presented by the City of Marquette and Superior Watershed Partnership with support from other local organizations and individuals in the Marquette community. Submissions must be inspired by the Blue Spotted Salamander and other subtle signs of spring.

 

Submitted art must be 2D, original work, ready to hang on gallery cable and hook system to be exhibited at City Hall. Signs of Spring will run from April 1st through June 10th. One entry per artist, submit artwork by dropping it off at City Hall (300 W Baraga) on Monday, March 28th from 10am to 5pm.
