Have some fun and try your hand at throwing pottery on Saturdays & Sundays!
When people talk about throwing pottery, they generally mean the process from the time the clay touches the wheel to the time the wheel is stopped. In this more general (and most commonly used) sense, throwing is the entire activity of shaping the clay on the potter’s wheel.
When: Try your hand at pottery on Saturdays and Sundays, July 11th and 12th and August 8th and 9th from 12:00 to 4:00 pm.
Where: MooseWood Nature Center
Audience: All ages are welcome. Youth under 14 years must be accompanied by an adult. Just watch the throwing of clay or join in and give it a try!
