MooseWood Nature Center's Haunted Bog Walk

MooseWood Nature Center, a privately-funded nature center, is holding our 18th Annual Bog Walk on Friday, October 26, and Saturday, October 27, from 7:30-10:00 p.m. at Presque Isle Park.

We are looking for groups to create scare stations throughout the bogs, dunes, and fields. Moosewood Board Members, staff, and volunteers will lead the groups of guests (usually attracts around 500 people) along the bog walk trails after dark.

Previous years have featured 12-foot ghosts that rose out of the leaves, a 6-foot bat that sailed over the pathway, bodies handing in trees, and chainsaw wielding madmen.

Volunteers are also needed to collect tickets, direct traffic, and serve as guides. If interested, please contact MooseWood at 906-228-6250 or info@moosewood.org.
