ART WEEK Hiawatha Instrument Making and Children’s Parade

In addition to their Monday night Art Week kick-off concert, Hiawatha Music Co-op will be hosting a youth activity at Mattson Lower Harbor Park as part of Marquette Fringe’s Reconnect at Lower Harbor! Youth ages 12 and under are invited to come to the park between 10:30am and 12:30pm to make a homemade instrument. In keeping with a long-standing yearly tradition at the Hiawatha Traditional Music Festival, the young musicians will then be taught a song or two from our Jive Trio performers, Frank Youngman, Mark Schrock, and Tom T.
