Each of us has a part to play in the promotion of unity in our communities and country. Racism is a persistent issue that can result in misunderstandings, division, and much worse.
The Marquette area Baha’i community invites the public to a discussion about racism on Wednesday, November 8 at 7:00pm in the Shiras Room of the Peter White Public Library. There will be prepared readings to be used a starting point for discussion. The goal is increased awareness and generation of ideas about how we can contribute to racial unity in our community and country. An hour's discussion barely begins to scratch the surface of this complex issue, but it can spark more thoughtful conversation and action. There is no cost for the presentation.
